Baptisms
Baptisms (or Christenings) take place on the 1st Sunday of every month during our normal morning service at 9.30am. It is an opportunity for us to welcome new members of the Church family and to share in the celebration.
As we can get booked up several months in advance, it is a good idea to contact me, Rev. Kathryn Buck, by phone on 01422 202424 as soon as you can to look at possible dates.

Weddings

If you are thinking of getting married at St Matthew's, please phone me, Rev. Kathryn Buck, to have a preliminary conversation, or to look at the Church before you decide.
I can explain the process in more detail and talk you through the initial stages and legal requirements. Every wedding is different and individual and we try to make your special day as personal to you as we can.

We also perform services fr the blessing of marriges after a civil ceremony, renewal of vows and thanksgiving for marriage.

Funerals

Funerals are usually arranged with the help of a funeral director, who would contact me if you wish to have a church service or a church minister to conduct a service elsewhere.
